Kitra is 6 Months!

So I am a few days...(okay 2+ weeks) late 

but here it is Kitra's 6 month blog post!!

On Thursday June 5th Kitra Anne was 6 Months Old!

 Really where the heck has the time gone?!?

At 6 Months Kitra was:

18lbs 10oz and 27 inches long

She has started eating solid foods
and loves sweet potatoes, peas, and apple/strawberry/banana baby foods!

She continues to babble away and can form the word Da Da... no Mama yet :(

Silly Faces...

She LOVES her fisher price stack-able tower and still loves any animals real or in toy form.

Especially the little kitty that rode in a car to my Mom's detailing shop that we are keeping till we can find her a new home! If Gypsy didn't hate the kitty so much we would probably have to keep her due to Kit Kat LOVING kitties just as much as her Daddy.

She rolls like crazy and is starting to get into crawling position.

She has mastered sitting as well as handling objects with skill.

A baby who never liked a paci...she would spit it right out. Up until a few days after she turned 6 months we gave it another go and we have created a paci monster :)

We are looking forward to a fun filled July! Kitra's first 4th of July and her first trip to Kearney, NE which will be the longest amount of time she has ever spent in her car seat wish us luck!

Kitra with her super adorable Purple/Pink Bear that Great Grandpa Ray and Nana Jo got her!! As many of you know Tyler had Blue Bear as a child which he received from his Grandpa Ray and Grandma Jolene this bear was VERY special to him and is known by all of his family. Tyler's Grandma had looked and looked for a blue bear but couldn't find one she liked. So we got this beauty in the mail with a letter that read the pink is because you are a girl and the purple is for K-State Go Cats!!

Kitra is 5 months!!

On May 5th Kitra was 5 months!!

 We are very interested in grabbing EVERYTHING!!

SO serious!!

At 5 months Kitra is:

17lbs

and

25 inches Long!

She loves:

Animals of any kind 

Sophie the Giraffe the Large Version

Is Mastering:

Sitting Up and Eating Rice Cereal

Has:

Rolled from Back to Tummy

and 

Found her feet!!

Kitra also loves to babble...not sure who she learned that from?!? 

She is starting to really recognize Mommy and Daddy :)

She has also sampled (aka 1 or 2 tiny licks) of

 applesauce, mashed potatoes & ice cream of which she likes them all!

Since she turned 5 months it is like we have a grown up girl with in days she became strong enough to almost sit completely unassisted, showing interest in all sorts of new toys/book, enjoying rice cereal and tries to scoot when on her belly! I have said it so many times but she amazes us each day :)

At 4 months Kitra is:

15lbs 4oz

Kitra continues to sleep all night 9pm to 7am, Babble, Laugh, Smiles, Tries to Suck her Thumb/Hands, and Play with all sorts of toys!

She has started showing a great interest in our cat Gypsy, tries to pull her self up at the waist, loves working the crowd, is mesmerized by Minnie Mouse videos, and is starting to find her feet!!

4 MONTHS OF CHANGES!!

I say it every time but I can't believe how much Kitra has grown and changed but each day is a blessing! She is the highlight of our life!!

We love you Kitra Anne :) 

Kitra is 3 months!

On March 5th Kitra Anne was 3 months!!

At 3 months Kitra is:

13 lbs and 13oz and 23.75 inches long!!

She keeps growing and growing!

She currently wears 3 to 6 month clothing and certain brands are even tight lengthwise 

I think it is official she will be a tall girl :) 

At 3 months Kitra loves:

Playing in her play gym...also just laying on her back in general

She can roll to her side all by her self and with different types of help has rolled from back to tummy!

Kitra is a giraffe girl!!

Her two favorite toys are 

Jirafa 

(pronounced her-raf-eh...aka the spanish form of giraffe) 

I named this toy... :)

Sophie

This toy is named by the company and is all the rage with lots of kiddos!!

Kitra currently plays with the tiny teether on the right but we will probably be busting "large" Sophie out pretty soon!

Kitra still loves naps with her Daddy!! 

And tries to hold her own bottle!!

Sporting her super hip "loom" bracelet that her friend Kaden from daycare made her!!

Kitra is such a happy baby who coos, smiles, babbles, and moves all the time!! She sleeps through the night from about 10pm to 7am which we appreciate more than she will ever know!!

I say all the time we have been blessed with a wonderful baby and can't wait to see what life has in store for her!!

Kitra is 2 months!

On February 5th Kitra was 2 months!!

Here is the run down of the Kitra Stats

Birth: 7lbs 14oz 20in long

One Month: 9lbs 11oz  21.5in long

Two Months: 12lbs exactly 22.8in long

At Two Months Kitra:

Has found her hands!!

and is OBSESSED with them :)

Enjoys Tummy Time

Continues to make all sorts of faces and smiles all the time...even though it is hard to catch it on camera :)

She loves to sit in the corner of the couch and to face out while you hold her!! She already LOVES being the center of attention and loves looking at others :) 

Kitra does something new and surprising each and every day!! Tyler and I can not believe how fast she has already changed!! Will time please slow down....

Kitra is 1 month!!

On January 5th our little girl was 1 month old!! It is absolutely crazy how fast time has pasted. Everyone told us don't blink because they will be grown up before you know it :)

It is so true!! I feel like the last month has been a blur but has been incredibly amazing!!

At 1 month Kitra loves:
 Baths 
(Daddy always plays her music on his phone during baths everything from LMAFO to Baby Einstein LOL) 

Making silly noises one of which we call her "goose call"

Moving her legs and arms ALOT!

Making lots of silly faces including smiling and sticking out her tongue

She can for the most part hold her head up
