Throwback Thursday

Like many people I kept seeing tbt or #tbt all over facebook and instagram....and was like wth is #tbt?!?

Well I soon learned it stands for "Throwback Thursday" that is "young/hip speak" for old school Thursday or reminiscent Thursday...so on and so forth!

I LOVE old pictures!! It is SO fun to look back on how things used to be and see how far someone, something, and yourself has come.

(Oh and beware family and friends...I am sure MANY of you will be making appearances)

So here it is my first edition of #tbt = Throwback Thursday

Since yet another Wamego High School Prom is soon approaching I thought I would kick it off with a Prom themed TBT!

Prom 2005

Marshall and I he is 10 and I am 16!

 On the Right last year at his prom he is 17 and I am 23...my how we have changed!

Tyler was a big bad Senior and I a Junior...our first prom as a couple :)

This picture shows SO much...first off look at our Brothers...both OH SO young!

Marshall is 11, I am 17, Tyler 18, and Nicholas is 21 we all look like BABIES!

Prom 2007

I was a Senior and Tyler was in Vo-Tech but he was a good boyfriend and went with me :)

My Dad pinned on Tyler's bout for both of our proms...

probably something not too many people knew

Yes as usual Prom was spent with my besties Amanda and Court

We didn't plan our dresses too well black and brown don't mix then throw in a splash of canary....eww

To conclude lets head back to Prom 1986....well 8th Grade Graduation 1981

Funny story...I went over to my Mom's house to get a prom picture of her and my dad...well literally 2 hours later...she couldn't find a single one :(

I have looked at them a hundred times so we are unsure where they went?!?

SO! An 8th grade grad photo will have to do! Still fun! Plus it shows that my parents have been together FOREVER!

Welch's Grape Juice...for some reason I am all about grape juice lately esp. mixed with ginger ale!

Since I gave up drinking almost all pop (besides ginger ale) and all caffeine drinks I am always looking for something else to drink besides Water, Beer, and Wine haha :)  

Lawn gnomes wearing life rings...

Yes as some of you already know I collect lawn gnomes...I have like (well just say a lot) of gnomes

I decided to take one to make my desk a little extra special

He of course got decorated along with the rest of my desk on my bday and I left the flotation device as a reminder that HOPEFULLY summer will come again one day...

or at least MAYBE Spring?!?

All the birthday love our friends and family showed us this week with a wall of bday cards!

24....& 25!

Well here it is folks....the first official post on my blog!!

What better way to start than with a Birthday week...well Birthday(S) week :)

I turned 24 on March 19th and Tyler turned the big ole 25 on March 22nd

As many of you know Tyler and I starting dating when I was the young age of 16 and him 17. I don't know exactly when we discovered that we shared the same birth month of MARCH but when we did we were pumped! Yep that's right as we always say March is the best month to be born in!

Tyler and I were born 362 days apart not to mention that both of our brothers are December babies, our mothers November babies and our Dad's birthdays are 6 months and 1 day apart....I like date riddles can you tell?!?

Anyway on to the festive week that was Tyler and I's birthday week!!!

It began on Saturday March 16th with a Ward and Manly fun fest at the gun range for Tyler's celebration...My Mom, Dad, Nick, Mark, and LuAnn all enjoyed taking turns firing away! We followed it up with dinner out that included Allie and Brooke (While my lil bro was spring breaking it up out of town!) as well as delicious cake and conversation at our home....I am sad to say I didn't get a single picture :(

Then came Tuesday March 19th my official day....the girls at my office decorated my desk as an Island paradise....and of course in true Kansas fashion it snowed most of the morning...I followed it up with dinner out with Tyler and my Parents at the ever fabulous So Long Saloon.

 

Then of course the yearly cake (DQ ice cream cake...we always pick a random one)

With the same candles that were used at my second and fourth birthday!

Dinner out with Tyler's parents Wednesday...

Dinner out on Friday as a couple for Tyler's actual day :) Needless to say I didn't cook much this week...well at all!

 

We summed up our bday week with more celebrations on Saturday March 23rd!

I spent a girls day out with my two besties Court and Amanda which included shopping and lunch. It was great to catch up I don't see them nearly as often as I used to... :( Once again I didn't get a single picture.

 

Lastly we had a Brazzle family March Birthday Bash!!

Half of the clan went out to dinner at where else than my Mom and my Aunt Donna's favorite Carlos O'Kelleys...

Then we went bowling all 14 of us!! It is always fun to hang with my Mom's fam

Whew...I am wore out that was the most we have celebrated our bithdays in a LONG time!!
