Baby Shower #2!!

I had my 2nd baby shower on Saturday October 19th!!

 

This one was hosted by the Brazzle ladies :) aka my Mom's Sisters and Sister in Laws! Plus my cousins.

 

This shower had a duck theme here are a few photos of the decorations

 

My Aunt Brenda made this Delicious Cake!

We played a game with all these baby photos...they included my Brother, my parents, my in laws, my brother in law, Tyler and I plus several of my cousins!!

Two of my old coworkers Rhonda and Jessica were able to attend!! It was great to see them :)

Only at a Brazzle family shower would boys show up!! They came for cake but also helped a lot with hauling gifts to the car :) Even my uncle Jim!

My Mom got lots of great items once again but there was a gift that my Dad picked out. A camo onesie and hat from bass pro shops.

Then my little brother picked out a gift as well which included a bib that said my uncle is hot and single haha and he picked out the safari play gym!! I am sure baby K will love uncle Marshall's gifts :)

 

 

 

My parents got us the baby swing...we recently set this up and it is AWESOME! It plays a light show, music, and animal sounds...photos of Daddy assembling to come :)  

 

I got lots of great gifts from my aunts/cousins/ and other guests!! Tons of practical items!!

Baby Shower #1!!

We are in week 32!! Yay!

 

 

Week 32 kicked off with my first baby shower!! This was with the Ward and Wassenberg families!!

Thanks to everyone who helped with and attended the Shower :)

We played several games...one where each guest guessed baby K's name...lots of good suggestions but no one was correct! :) I am so very proud of Tyler an I for doing so well of keeping her name our little secret!

 

Then each guest wrote Baby K a bday card for a specific year of life until age 18! I am excited to see what different people wrote to her each year :)

 

Lastly guests wrote saying on diapers to keep Tyler and I entertained as we change diapers...I saw a popular one of GO BIG RED....hmmm wonder who that was :)

We received tons of great gifts!! A huge THANKS to everyone for all the wonderful items off of our registry as well as cute clothes and practical gifts :)

 

We are SO grateful!!

Tyler's Grandma Wassenberg Cross Stitched and hand quilted this awesome quilt!!

We actually bought the blocks for her as a Christmas gift last year and are so thrilled to have them back on a quilt for our baby girl :)  

Tyler's Aunt Rhonda made us this awesome quilt that was colored with crayon...so cool and was hand quilted by Tyler's grandmother.

Tyler's Cousin made us this adorable football onesie and KSU purple tutu!

I was very excited about my coach diaper bag from my Mom along with countless other fabulous gifts!! Like this Xmas themed outfit!

 

Tyler's cousin Rachel purchased us this adorable camo crocheted hat with pink accents that came with matching booties!! They were to die for SO cute!

Tyler's parents got us our stroller/car seat travel system!

But in addition my MIL made these adorable towels and bibs with counted cross stitch!!

Kitties of course :) Tyler LOVES kitties and I am sure baby K will too!

 

Tyler's Ward grandparents purchased Baby K's crib!! Which is in and we have to pick up this week :) So here is the display photo set up to soon follow!

Week 30!!!

Yes we are in WEEK 30!! We are SO excited to be 3/4ths of the way through the pregnancy!!

 

I have still been feeling great with really no problems, complications or complaints :)

 

This month marks the start of our Childbirth classes and both of my showers!!

 

The Ward/Wassenberg Family Shower is on 10/13/13 and

the Brazzle/Manly Family Shower is 10/19/13!

 

Getting super excited for both and be looking for blog posts detailing both events!!

 

Week 30 Photo

 

 

The final week 30 highlight is that Tyler finally got to feel baby K move!! She gave his hand two good hard kicks and then she did what I call her "wiggle worm" effect. She has only been doing wiggle worm for about a week but I think she is getting bigger and bigger and I can feel when she wiggles her whole body. Tyler thought the kicks were crazy but once he felt the wiggle worm he was really surprised especially that I feel it from the inside all day and night :)

 

Very cool experience so happy he finally could feel her!!
